Its 3-layer construction delivers 15,000mm waterproof protection whilst maintaining breathability, making it ideal for challenging weather conditions. The polyester outer fabric provides durability against abrasion from rocks and vegetation.
Design and materials
Built with a robust polyester shell, this jacket features thoughtful details for mountain use. The shoulders incorporate silicone gripper dots to prevent backpack straps from sliding during extended carries. All zips are waterproof with oversized pullers for gloved operation. The hood includes a reinforced brim that maintains its shape in strong winds, whilst underarm ventilation zips allow rapid temperature regulation during ascents.

Whether navigating exposed ridgelines or pushing through dense forest trails, this jacket excels. The ergonomic cut ensures full mobility during scrambling or steep climbs. Four pockets provide organised storage: two chest pockets for navigation tools and two handwarmer pockets with fleece lining for cold conditions. The extended back panel offers additional coverage when bent forward or wearing a pack.

The jacket works seamlessly as an outer shell in a layering system. Adjustable features include an elastic waist cord and hook-and-loop cuffs with internal storm cuffs, creating a customised seal against the elements.
